I have once got 41.5 KMPL on highway (cruised for 90 to 110 kmph) and have been getting 35 to 38 kmpl on average. But usually i'll get about 30 to 35 KMPL on city rides. Sometimes it would go down to 29 kmpl when ridden on bumper to bumper traffic most of the time. And its based on your riding style too. I used to ride on its comfortable powerbands (3.5k to 5k rpm on city , 4.5k to 6.5k on highways)

NO. most you can get is 30-32. BUT why buy a 250cc sports bike if you are looking for mileage? Sports bikes are not for fuel averages, its for the control, and fun. You will end up in the 90-100 range eve before you realise what speed you are at - its SUPER stable and comfortable. At lower speeds you will have to lower the gear to keep the power smooth. The happy RPM range is 3.5K-5K for easy city rides & commuting, but its a grand 7k-9K on highways which is also its powerband.

Well for 1 fact i dont watch such videos :) and another i know about 6-7 frnds who r havng 250R and they know another 6 or 7 my point is none of us are getting such a figure. If you own a cbr250r do let me know if u had achieved such a range of mileage. And what do u mean by correct speed? I mean i used 2 get very good mileage when i ride it on 80-95kmph(top gear) in highways and i used to get the same when i ride it around 45-60(top gear) too.. Doesn't make any sense.
