The first 3 services are very critical in maintaining a healthy engine and its components in the long run. The engine parts "sets" in this time and a lot of sharp/unwanted parts are cut and floats in the oil, which is why the oil needs to be changed frequently in these first few services. Rising long distance without first service could harm your engine and components due to high stress and heat. Better get the 1st Service DONE before you undertake a long journey, even if enough KMS are not yet clocked.

Only go for the long ride after the first servicing- ideally after 600-700 kms. Also, ride the bike for a week or so after servicing and then take it for a ride.
