For NS 200 Owners: Speed does not matter, it's all about engine rpm. Just because your NS is blessed with 6-speed gear box, you can go above 60Kmph at just 4000rpm at top gear. Engine Breakin tips for NS 200 Owners:1)For 0-500kms: Keep Engine rpm under 4000.2)Get your engine oil changed right at 500kms.3)Now you can go upto 6000 rpm till you complete 2000kms.4)I will suggest to get your engine oil replaced again after 2000kms. However company will recommend it to get replaced at 5000kms.5) Now you are ready to enjoy complete power of your bike.6)Still some tips for longer life of your engine: i) Do not redline your engine. ii)Idle your engine for 2 mins before a ride in cold start. iii) Recommended engine oil grade/regular service. iv)Use full Synthetic engine oil after 5000kms.

For first 500 kms i suggest you not test you engine power ie.RPM, Do not Rev your bike for more than 6000 rpm. later on excedding 500 kms , you can build onto 7000 to 8000 rpm and so on.

Plz maintain a speed below 60kmph,for 1 month below 5000rpm will give u a better mileage. I am using ns for 4.5 years.. Its still give me around 40kmpl.
