• Q. I am planing to buy the RE Interceptor but my daily usage is college to home and vice versa and travel and hangout with friends...my main problem with the bike is the mileage, should I still go for it - Jawa?

    Instead of mileage you should be more concerned about the weight of the bike. Twin cylinder heads mean a big jump in the weight. This is not suitable for a new rider. Hence I would suggest a much lighter single cylinder bike with a capacity of around 125 - 155cc max. Listen to the voice of experience. I have been riding since 1980.

    Interceptor will give less mileage than Jawa. Both bikes are more suitable for highway ride to get maximum mileage.

    25 KMPL will the mileage in city condition. If you can afford the bike is yours.
