• Q. I have been driving Activa 125 since August 2016 but I am getting half of the mileage what it claimed after going through all the services, I want to change my scooter to Honda Garazia BS6 since still I have some faith left with Honda. Can you please explain what can be the maximum fluctuation between claimed and actual mileage of Grazia BS6?

The Honda Grazia 125 is powered by a 124cc single-cylinder fuel-injected motor that develops max power of 8.25PS at 6,000rpm and a max torque of 10.3Nm at 5,000rpm. As for the mileage, the previous version was claimed to deliver 55kmpl, however, the fuel efficiency figures are not yet out for the BS6 version. We expect better mileage returns since the scooter now gets a fuel-injected engine and bits like Idling Stop System and 3-step eco speed indicator for improved mileage. In order to get better fuel efficiency returns from your car, there are some points that you can keep in mind while riding such as keeping a check on tyre air pressure, timely service your bike, maintain proper gear to RPM ratio, do not accelerate the car unnecessarily, ride your car at economical speeds, etc.
