• Q. Is Royal Enfield Classic 350cc launched with diesel engine or not?

    Yes from 1993 to 1999 Enfield diesel 325 CC was available fitted in RE standard frame.. Gear box was same as petrol with heavier wet clutch plate . Engine is from kirloskar. Too heavy vibrations , Engine noise . No self start . Mileage is unbelievable till 80-90 KMPL. I purchased in 1997 @ Rs.55,500 on road price.

    Royal Enfield Taurus was the only diesel engine bike launched which has been discontinued

    Sorry to inform you that there are no current RE bikes in production with diesel engine.
