Yes, it is worth buying Jawa 42. As Jawa 42 2.1 is powered by a Jawa 42 is a liquid-cooled, 293cc engine that generates 26.51PS of power and 27.05Nm of torque. The new bike makes 27.33PS compared to the 26.51PS by its predecessor. On the move, the first thing you will notice is the engine’s eagerness. It isn't blisteringly quick but feels peppy. Vibrations are in check until the mid-range, but once you go past it, you can feel the vibes on the footpegs and the handlebar. A Kerb weight of 172kg makes it one of the lightest motorcycles among its peers, and moving the bike around doesn’t require much muscle. Ride quality is firm, and the rear has the tendency to toss the rider off the seat over sharp bumps. There are some features missing like Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation, the crude finish of the footpeg stay is an eye-sore and the quality of some of the welds could have been better. Also, the bolts on the motor and the windscreen could have received a black finish in tune with the Stealth Black theme. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.

I have a jawa 42 it's a great bike in terms of performance, pickup in short it has all the power you want but it lacks in so many aspects, low ground clearance (even gets scratched from the bottom at normal turns at times),heating issues are such a pain in bumper to bumper traffic(at times even your jeans, lower gets a bit too hot from the heat 😅)and yaa this bike doesn't provide any mileage at all but that's a another issue but ig Indians do consider mileage a big thing and yaa i too do as I'm just a college student and my everyday commute is around 40 kms and jawa should do it in 1 litre of petrol but it costs me nearly 150-170 ruppes of fuel(as per Chandigarh 94 ruppes currently). But if mileage is not a big issue for someone who's thinking to buy this and is okay with a bit of heating then it's a good bike but the ground clearance is still a big issue. Disappointment by jawa 42!

The Jawa 42 is definitely worth considering for its blend of retro styling, modern performance, and comfort. However, it does have some negative points to consider. One drawback is its weight, which may feel a bit heavy for new riders. Additionally, the bike's seat height might be challenging for shorter riders, impacting overall comfort. Some users have reported that the service network could be improved for better accessibility. Despite these negatives, the Jawa 42 delivers an engaging riding experience with its smooth engine and refined handling. Its aesthetic appeal and emotional connection to the classic motorcycle lineage make it a standout choice for enthusiasts. Ultimately, if you appreciate the unique design and performance of the Jawa 42, it remains a fantastic option worth buying!
