Q. My height is 5.3", will KTM 200 Duke be comfortable for me?
21K Views Follow Question Add Answer193 AnswersHydmoto | 4 years agoIt can be managed only if you are a rider who has prior experience. I'm 5.5 and I ride the duke 200 which I tip toe while solo and can reach flat with pillion weight. 5.3 will be uncomfortable but not impossible. If you are passionate, experienced who can handle a powerful machine like the duke in emergency and traffic situations then you can go for it.
Nerf | 4 years agoIt will be hard ..in new bs6 Duke 200 seat height has increased. I'm 5feet 6 inch and only toes of each foot touches the ground..but as the bike is light it's easy to control.ii suggest you take test ride but if you r an experienced rider I don't think height will be an issue.
Ziyad | 4 years agoI'm 5.4' and am happily riding a Duke 200 for 5 years now. Height is an issue only when you want to reverse the bike on an uneven surface by sitting on it. I usually get down from the bike during such instances. it is a light weight bike and therefore is very easy to manage.
Suprith | 4 years agoYou will face a lot of problem in Traffic, my dad is 5'6 and his foot barely touched one side of the road. Suggest you go for RE bullet or duke 125.But it is highly comfortable for riding, latent strain after riding is not there. Ergonomics or seating comfort is worth the height.
Arijit | 4 years agoNo it will be a little problem for you specially at the traffic you will have a very little portion of your foot touching the ground. As of the 2020 edition of Duke 200 its seat height increased a lot so do take a test drive before final purchase. Ride safe.
Sammy | 5 years agoIf you are confident about your riding and controls then ofcourse it is suitable for your height.Duke 200 is not something that can be rode by learners, you must be a rider to ride this monster. It is comfortable when you can reach your one leg firmly on the ground, it should be enough for you, as a result you may appear to have some troubles in traffic riding and so on... But that doesn't matter if you can handle your bike firmly and conciously in an emergency situations.
Vasu | 4 years agoI’m 5’7” i cannot supposed to place my both foots on floor at the same time. But for me ok to manage with boots. But here you are 5’3” so.. imagine that brother, you can ride that’s not a problem here. But your height makes you uncomfortable in many situations.we can adjust many things for our love. But in long terms that’s not that much easier. Hope you understand bro.
Bikash | 5 years agoYes for the handling it is fine but It's little difficult when you reverse It, for that put it in neutral to make is easier as it doesn't move freely even when clutch is applied .
Shiyaf | 3 years agoI'm 5'4' and I can manage the vehicle effortlessly. Even though I tip toe, it is very easy to control the bike even in traffic or uneven terrains, because the bike is very light in weight.
Ziyad | 5 years agoI'm 5ft 4in and have been riding a Duke 200 for the last 4 years and it's okay. If this is your first bike or you are a relatively new rider, you could experience some difficulties. Otherwise, it's fine, though I sometimes wish the seat height was a little lower especially when riding with a pillion.
Chinmaya | 5 years agoIf you are an experienced rider height wont matter , but if you are new to naked street it will bit uncomfortable as you would be reaching on your toes.
Vedant | 5 years agoNot so because when I was 5.4" I was struggling but if you are able to control it's power and weight then go for it.
SuperCharged | 2 years agoIts not always just the height but the inseam of your legs that matters most. As Duke has a narrow seat towards the oil tank, it doesn't really feel as high as NS does. So best is to test ride it once.
Mohit | 5 years agoYes bruh it will be comfortable earlier you will be facing problem but afterwards you will be habitual and I am also 5'3 so now I am also not getting problem after some time it's soccer's get adjusted
Abhijeet | 5 years agoThat depends upon your balancing the way you do it, however I think it could hamper you in traffic
Jagannath | 4 years agoNo you might get some issues...as I'm 5'11" and i get my feets down fully soo 5'3" could be a isssue
Jagan | 5 years agoYes for sure... It may be slightly difficult at handling but it'll be easy if u ride enough.
Lohith | 5 years agoYou will be tip-toying for sure but once u get used to it you'll will be fine. I own and drive duke 200 and for reference my height is 5.6 still my legs doesn't touch the ground.
Abdias | 4 years agoIt'll be a tad bit difficult for you to maneuver in traffic, otherwise you'll be fine
Srinivas | 5 years agoNo problem, you should be capable of holding weight of it then it is ready to race.
AkshwanThappa | 5 years agoU can ride easily but when u need to reverse then some conplications u can face
Cruz | 5 years agoI bought one of the first bikes launched in my state ..till date i didnt had any single problem handling the bike ..and i am just 5ft 2 inch..so its up to you bro .
Riccardo | 5 years agoRiding with the right foot -gear is very important. I'm sure you can handle the DUKE 200 comfortably. Remember....its your inner height (confidence) that counts....
Abdul | 3 years agoI'm 5.4 still no problem but 5.6 best height for Duke 200, over all control and best position
Mohit | 5 years agoBro you can take but you have to reduce suspension so you can ride easily earlier you will face difficulties in traffic but after that you will comfortable
Abhiram | 5 years agoBetter to take a test drive 'cause comfort matters a lot
Lha | 4 years agoIt will be bit difficult for you while controlling it,,
AshutoshMishra | 3 years agoOffcourse its is very much comfortable for you brother

Kashiya | 4 years agoYes.. it will be comfortable for you to ride it.... you just need abit practice...

Siddharth | 5 years agoYou may need to tip toe the bike. The best way is to visit the nearest showroom for a test-ride and find out if its comfortable for you.
