Chrome version is the best color option available with lowest maintenance. But it's the vehicle which demands very high maintenance. For your info I spend almost 50k on just parts in the year 2016-17. My fuel tank started rusting after the 1st year. A problem which they had with first slot of every desert storm. The store manager told me. I wasn't riding much soI didn't change it because it was just a minor rust and everyone told me there is no need. Later my bike had starting trouble. Got it checked my tanks inner bottom full gone. Had to change tank fuel injector injector module a filter ( size of two Fingers cost me 2500 bucks, it is available in local mkt for 150) , all locks. Within 3 months the pump too , only the motor is not working but you have to change the entire unit coated me13600. Later on researched and found The motor of cars cost only 1000*(everyone modifies nano's) & duplicate is available in mkt for 1500. My suggestion is not to go for 500. Either go for 350 or buy a second hand Harley by adding an another 50k. Ask any 500 owners they won't suggest you to buy one. Research on net every 500 owners had gone through the pump issue at least once in their life. My friend brought a second hand Harley for 2.8 and he spends only 8 to 10 k for every 8000km. And also remember 500 is very difficult to ride in city. Your hand and shoulders will strain within an hour. I don't know much about the new ones . But damn sure about old ones. Old ones don't have rear disc. No ABS. Take your time, a test ride and decide.

You can go with the chrome, but you should see that you should avoid from scratches. Moreover you have to rub it with a cotten cloth on daily basis and polish it.

There's a coat given to the paint scheme which protects also from rusting, and does really look good for glossy finishing.
