Q. There are lots of complaints from Jawa 42 users about meter complaint and sensor complaint which doesn't allow bike to start. The bike is getting towed to showroom later gets fixed. Also heard about paint quality issues as well as finishing of the bike. Lots of gaps also seen between the parts. As anyone else faced such issues.? Try to bring these issues to the notice of the company. - 42 - 42 - 42?

Am jawa onwer I have bike jawa 42.2.1 black colour I bought tilakraj automobile that time prasant jain claim to provide service for my in the town it self .but all promises were fake .soon I got fault in engine noise shim valve cham shaft adjuster sound .on 25 th June the visted to Rectify the problem. The told that the problem in chain tensioner and they would replace it , but the noise started again .the even visted on my expense .I then feild the complain and was told to vist varanas jawa show on 6th July .I even had to ride to 200 km + 200 . I was told that the problem that the problem. Not we solved .on 13 September I travel to Nk jawa Satna to solved problem .there I was told that actual problem is in shim valve and the claimed that the changed it but there it self when I started the bike the noise started to come again and now the area service manager Is telling me to visit Satna again these time he will him self look in to this matter . But Satna is300km from my place . I have travelled 1600 km on my expense and tel now nothing seems to resolve my prlm .I am very tensed and tired from this problem so I humbly request you to my problem.

There are repeated problems happening in my jawa 42 2.1 one after the other and things are getting very frustrated. Service centres are not skilled enough to solve them or the least identify them. You would have to live with the problem and indentify them yourself and fix them. No support waste of efforts. One good thing is I am becoming a bike mechanic. Let me list some issues. Sensors just won't work and malfunction after few months. Paint work is not good soon you will face rusting in larger areas. Battery rectifier which is used to recharge the battery on the go gets problem and end up pushing your vehicle miles on foot. Trust me kick starter would have to be made necessary since I can't trust the internals of jawa since one after other just ends up not working.The more I felt prestigious riding it the more it makes people to mock you. I started to feel like pushparaj pushing the huge machine all around the streets just to let others know that it's not a great machine.

Yes! It is true that some sensors not allowing the bike to start and you will get a notification on your instrumental cluster that “Side Stand On” even if the bike is not on the side stand. It doesn’t allow the fuel injector to do its work. So you won’t hear that buzz noise during the ignition. You won’t see the heat indicator and the lamda indicator light on during the key on. Normally we can see all the indicator lights on and off while the key on.I’m 200+ km away from the service center and struggling with this bike. Really inconvenient.

Problems I want to mention please read it carefully. 1) Corrosion – Jumpers and springs. It was replaced in one year and again corroded. Now it's chargeable. 2) Timing belt assembly – I have to replace it within 1 year. Around 3000Rs. 3) Bendix Gear – This is a recent problem. I have never heard of replacing this gear (and not full assembly including bearing and counter Gear) within 2 years of bike purchase. I am driving other vehicles never heard of this kind of replacement. Replacement cost 3000 Rs. This is Unethical pricing as the full-assembly of Royal Enfield and other bikes for only 2500 Rs in the market. 4) Meter – Fuel gauge problem. 5) Battery – Battery Draining due to cooling fan mismanagement.

I have also got so many issues in my jawa 42. Engine got opened, timing chain changed within 1600 kms Lamda Sensor got replaced ,battrey. Issues were there , metre is not working properly. , Got fog in the metre. And they are saying this is comman with every 2nd jawa bike. For them it would be commen but spending more than 2 lakh Is not comman thing . Its totaly scrap. Abhi se ye haal hai. Aage ka pta ni . Kya hoga.

I have jawa 42 2019 Nov model. Driven 9700 kms till now. Yes the bike is very poorly engineered specially the sensors are of cheap quality and moreover even the service guys are not able to find the problem and fix it. Bike has rusting issues. Very poorly made bike. If anyone wants headache anxiety and worries after spending 2.5 lacs they can surely buy jawa. Else its a big NO. Been 4 years owning the bike, never satisfied or happy. Being a bike lover it sometimes feels like the worst decision of my life.

Worst experience of my life! It’s been more than a month when I’ve sent my bike to repair in Jawa service centre in Varanasi and those guys are always keep saying that next week next week and they use abusive words for customers when I asked them to give my bike back so that I will take it to the Allahabad service centre then they started abusing and I’m stuck it’s totally robbery it’s totally trap

I suggest, not to buy jawa bike, there focus is only is to sale the bike and then no service, i bought jawa 42 2.1 in december, the dealer took all the charges but did not provide RC even after 9 months of purchase. The congenital fault in the bike remains untreated and the bike is in custody of the dealer. Only thing, i apprecite is bike, but without service and after sale harrament by dealers is a gift with bike.Please think about 100 times before buying jawa,

I have jawa 42 just 2 years bike but the last 30 September my bike was fired, i did service on last month 21st August only. They asked service charge on 6800.00 Rs, But now my bike was fired on electrical issues, they said i want to change full set of electrical wire they asked now 6000.00 Rs. Think that with in one month i did service of 13000.00 Rs in jawa bike. My personal experience pl don't bye this bike java 42 or any jawa bikes

Rear bearing issue 7. Again Engine was not started 8. Again socket, other sockets, wire, Headlamp, Headlamp cover, and ODOmeter are completely gone due to the socket melting in the side headlamp.

Even the parts price is too high that my front disc rotor cost Rs 4850...I have bought many motorcycles even got a Ktm duke 390...I also once change the front disc of my Ktm which is way bigger than jawa but it cost only Rs1700 ....what material made jawa front dics plate so expensive..do they use titanium or what?Jawa sucks

Never buy a jawa bike... My head light suddenly gone off while coming back from office and suddenly smoke coming from the head light area.. and till now I was thinking headlight cover was made of metal... It started melting... Really I came to know how jawa made us chutiya.... Saala fibre ka head light cover... Ha ha ha

Yes, I am one among them...the fuel meter was not working since the first day itself. In one week the bike started breaking down. Brackets already started rusting like a 10year old bike. Yesterday ultimately it broken down totally and RSA toed it away. It's only four months old. Never go for it

Yes, in my bike I have changed battery 3 times, due to heating meter glass cracked inside, some parts with rusting and some parts not painted properly. lambda sensor issue.my bike runs only 2500km. I recommend to not buy Jawa vehiclethere are other lots of options in this budget.

Proud Owner,4000kms done on my 42 2.1...no major problem except fogging in metre console..heating or breaknoise have gone after 800 kms,it is a common issue in most naked bike.. maintenance is required to avoid rusting..

No such issue with newer batch but they don't hide or smoothen bike skeleton frame joints that's what may be users are complaing about...

Bike is nice but service so sad.As soon as I take the bike jawa 42, there are small complaints, but even if it is fixed, it gets damaged again. Kottayam jawa showroom service not good. Plz make little better 🙌
