Q. Is it suitable for long rides, like 700-900 kms - Apache 200 4V Race?

Yes absolutely..I.had recently completed a 1700 kms ride. There is no issues with the engine such as overheating, etc. The only thing as a con is it vibrates a lot which will gradually tire you in the long runs

90 to 105 kph is the practical cruising speed of RTR 200 4v. Munching kilometres depends highly on riders endurance. I personally take a quick break for 10 mins at around 200 kms.

Q. I am a student and height is 5.4 feet, can I easily ride the TVS Apache 200 4V?

@ Kunal | My height is also same 5.4 feet and i ride flawlessly. My daily commute is about 10-12kms nd i feel no difficulty in handling nd other things. This bike suits short riders. If you are anywhere around 5.8- 6 then you will find some difficulty while riding.Go ahead take a test ride of the bike.

How can you ?? I mean yes riding is very easy but if you get your both foot down and want to push your bike backwards then I'd say it's a little difficult, I am 5.5 btw and since I was riding rtr 160 2009 model earlier and upgraded yesterday i.e on 9th Dec 2019 from rtr 160 2009 model-rtr 2004v 2019 model and found out that while pushing the bike backwards getting your both foot down is a little challenging sometimes specially on busy roads even on traffics if you may. But I am also finding a tad bit difficult while taking a U-turn from idle state if the road/street is small, but i had no problems on my old rtr 160 as sometimes I used just one hand to take a sharp U-turn but nevertheless i'd say practice makes perfect, or almost close to perfection, since I rode the old rtr for almost a decade and still I was/I'm still not a perfect rider. From my personal experience I'd say the more you ride and get to know your motorcycle the more you'll start achieving near perfection or less.

Q. I am 5.2ft, is this bike sutaible for me or can I adjust the height of the bike - Apache 200 4V Race?

You can tight the rear mono shock to reduce height, it is a seven step adjustable suspension i guess... every bike have a provision to adjust the rear suspension. But it will stiffer the suspension and didnt soack up much from the road...

Q. Would you be so kind to answer my questions....? 1. which part of Apache 200. creates problem...? 2. At what speed vibrations can be expected? 3. what would be the mileage of bike if i ride it at 60-70 kmph with smooth riding? 4. If i use motul engine oil, then it would be out of warranty according to the TVS service centers. How should i use motul engine oil & get warranty at same time...? 5. Does power Petrol available at petrol pumps is different from normal petrol...? What are the benefits of power( speed) petrol....? I know the reply would be lengthy, but please be so kind to help me with these questions. I have done research myself but looking for some expert advice, to be sure with my decision to buy (Apache RTR 200 race Edition)

The TVS Apache RTR 200 4V has been one of the nicest 200cc motorcycles in India. It is sharp and agile while maintaining a friendly power delivery. It is powered by a 197.7cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine that makes 20.5PS of power and 16.8Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox and the lack of a sixth gear limits its touring potential. The ARAI claimed mileage of TVS Apache RTR 200 4V is 50.70 kmpl. In our fuel efficiency tests, the BS6 RTR 200 4V delivered 50.70kmpl in the city and 42.58kmpl out on the highway. As for the engine oil, the standard oil offered at the service center is the best suitable engine oil for the bike and we'd recommend you to continue with that. Moreover, the difference between the normal petrol and power petrol is of the octane value. The normal petrol has a lower octane value and is used by most of the vehicle in India. Power petrol, on the other hand, has a higher octane value and it increases the performance and fuel efficiency of your vehicle. However, the difference is marginal and if you are willing to pay the premium, you may use the power petrol. Both TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and Hero XPulse 200 are good bikes. While the Apache RTR 200 4V has been one of the nicest 200cc motorcycles in India, the lack of of a sixth gear though limits its touring potential. As per you requirements, the Xpulse 200 would be a better pick for its light and easy handling and great city slicking abilities. It’s got all the basic goodies and inherent qualities to make for a cheerful, encouraging trail hunter and it’s not a heartachingly expensive motorcycle to damage either. Q. Which one is best in mileage ns 200 or apache 200 4v ???

If you want go for 200cc bike you should not look to mileage because if you take bike by looking mileage you will take apache200 4v but after that you will not get proper service even Apache 200 4v indicator bulb is not available on service centre from this you should think about the service of TVS

TVS Apache RTR 200 4V requires 1.2L engine oil and the best suitable oil grade is SAE 10W30. For more details, you may refer to the user manual of the bike.
