The Honda cbr250r is a very costly bike to maintain. The service cost including oil change, oil filter change, miscellaneous will cost around upwards of 3.5k. the ignition switch system, horn system, digital display are not resistant to indian rain, dusty conditions and frequently malfunctions. The front forks are not designed for indian road conditions and leaks fork oil. The tail light malfunctions. The right ignition switch system costs around 2.5k. the front and rear brake pads costs around 2k. The tires wear out easily at 7k km. The brake pad wears out easily at 2k kms. The parts are not manufactured locally and imported from Japan. Overall the bike is not designed for indian conditions and costly to maintain. Better go for high performance, high reliable, low maintenance bike designed for indian conditions like pulsar. Thanks

Cbr250r is a costly bike to maintain. The service charges including oil change, oil filter, miscellaneous will cost around 3.5 - 4k. The parts are not locally manufactured. They are imported from Japan. Right side ignition system costs around 2.5k. the digital speedometer cannot withstand the dust and rain in indian conditions. It frequently malfunctions. The tail light display also malfunctions. The front forks cannot withstand the indian road conditions and breaks down leaking fork oil. It's good that they stoped production in india. It is very costly bike and not reliable for indian conditions. Better go for high performance reliable low maintenance bikes like pulsar.

CBR250R is 2 bikes rolled into one. If you are riding sedately at about 4000-5000 rpm you will get a mileage of 32-34 kmpl. In this rpm range it is a commuter bike, easily going through the city traffic. Now when you ride in the rpm range of 7000+ its a very different bike altogether - more like a sports bike. The bike feels powerful, eager to race forward and very responsive. In this mode you will get a average of 28-30 kmpl. Servicing is at 5000-6000km interval. Engine oil required is fully synthetic. There are periodic maintenance requirements to CHANGE filters and parts and oils. Follow those very strictly. Normal service with Oil Change will cost you 1500-1700. Periodic service with parts change will be little higher. Parts are not expensive at all and easy to get.
