CBR 250 R with ABS is the bike to choose among the two. Its a mature bike and good for learning how to ride sportsbike.1. Semi Touring, Semi Sports stance - low pressure on arms and wrist. Easy to do long distance touring2. FANTASTIC honda motor with 26 PS power and 23 NM Torque - excellent pick up and can hold 120 kmph for hours (if you can, and road conditions permit). Can keep up with Kawasaki or Benelli 300s and beats RE on highways. Its deceptively fast, believe me. 3. Best bike for pillion rider - most comfortable in its class4. No fatigue - its comfortable. 5. Lovely on twisties - just lean it around corners. You will love the Khopoli-Lonavala stretch. ABS SAVES - its is a MUST.However - its costlier than the R15 V3. R15V3 looks sportier, and handles sharper. But much lower on Power and Torque, not for long rides as stance is more committed. Good for short distance.

If you want to ride solo and in city for short distances you may prefer R15 V3, but apart from that the CBR 250R should be the choice. More powerful, more sturdy, better brakes, superior build quality, comfort for pillion rider, comfortable for long distances. If you are wiling to shell out 50k more, CBR should be the one
