Price: The Porsche 911 Carrera has been launched at an introductory price of Rs 1.99 Crore (ex-showroom) and the 911 Carrera GTS 4 at Rs 2.75 Crore (ex-showroom).

Features: The interiors get a mild update in design and now features a 12.6-inch digital driver’s instrument display along and a 10.9-inch infotainment touchscreen system supporting wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It also features a mode switch button on the steering wheel for toggling in between different driving modes. Additionally, there is a wireless phone charger and USB-C ports for charging devices.

Engine: Porsche has introduced a hybrid-assisted powertrain for the 911 Carrera GTS 4. This system features a newly developed 3.6-liter 6-cylinder turbocharged boxer engine which is paired with an electric motor. Together, they deliver a combined output of 541 PS and 610 Nm. The powertrain is connected to an 8-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission, which includes a separate electric motor for additional torque. In comparison, the standard Carrera is equipped with the same twin-turbo 3-liter engine, but it has been tuned to generate 394 PS and 450 Nm.

Rivals: It rivals other sports cars like the Ferrari Roma and 296 GTB.

Porsche has launched the 911 T in India at Rs 1.81 crore (ex-showroom, pan-India). The 911 Touring sits bang between the base trim and Carrera S, and gets a handful of equipment from the S. It is powered by a 3-litre, flat-six, twin turbo engine, which generates 385PS. It can go from 0-100kmph in 4.5 seconds and maxes out at 291kmph.

Porsche offers the 911 in India in seven broad trims: Carrera, Touring, Carrera S, GT3, GT3 Touring, Turbo S, and GT3 Rs. The sports car pricing ranges from Rs 1.69 crore to Rs 3.24 crore (ex-showroom pan-India).
