Ola Roadster X Electric Bike Production Begins

Ola Electric Roadster X has entered production at last. The announcement was shared by Bhavish Aggarwal on social media. The Ola Roadster X will be the first electric bike from the EV maker, and Ola Electric claims its deliveries will begin by the end of January 2025 or the beginning of February 2025.

The photo shared shows an Ola Roadster X being assembled. We can see the bike’s chassis, battery pack and motor clearly in the picture. However, looking at the overall picture, it doesn’t seem like a conventional assembly line that we are all familiar with. 

Ola launched the Roadster X back in 2024, with a starting price of Rs 74,999 (ex-showroom). It is offered in 3 variants with the following prices.

In terms of underpinnings, the bike is built on a dual-cradle frame and is suspended on a telescopic fork and a twin rear shock absorber setup. The bike rolls on 17-inch alloys at both ends, and braking duties are handled by disc brakes at the front and a drum at the rear. 

Now, Ola Electric has also launched 2 more models –  the Ola Roadster and the Ola Roadster Pro. At the time of writing this story, Ola website claims that the Roadster’s deliveries will begin from March and the Roadster Pro’s deliveries will begin from January 2026.
