Ola Electric has stepped up their game in their electric mobility space with the launch of S1 Pro+ Gen 3 electric scooter. Let’s see if the top-end electric scooter from Ola has what it takes to go against the Ather 450 Apex with the help of images.
Design
The Ola S1 Pro+ gets a similar design to its predecessor. It shares the same family-oriented design language which is highlighted by dual-LED headlights upfront, a curved tail section and big floorboard in the middle. The S1 Pro+ is available in six colour options: Passion Red, Porcelain White, Industrial Silver, Jet Black, Stellar Blue and Midnight Blue.
The Ather 450 Apex also shares its design with the 450X electric scooter. It gets a sporty design language and gets transparent body panels which showcases its underpinnings. The scooter is available in a single colour scheme: Indium Blue.
Battery and Performance
The Ola S1 Pro+ Gen 3 gets a 5.3kWh battery pack on the top-end variant which has a claimed Indian Driving Cycle (IDC) range of 320km. ZigSays
The Ola S1 Pro+ Gen 3 is more feature rich, more powerful and offers the most claimed range on paper. It is also the more affordable scooter out of the two. The Ather 450 Apex on the other hand, is the more expensive scooter while offering a lower claimed range and lower range/performance figures. Where the Ather shines is that their claimed range is something which you can expect to receive in the rear world as well. Their after sales service is also comparatively better than that of Ola’s. If you want a reliable scooter with good after sales service and don’t mind spending a premium, the Ather 450 Apex is the one you should go for. But if you are someone who wants outright performance and loads of features but are willing to sacrifice on after sales service experience, the S1 Pro+ is the right choice for you.
