Ducati India has finally launched the 2023 Panigale V4 series in India. The supersport series is now more aggressive than before and comes packed with a whole host of electronic rider aids, making it a bit more intuitive and convenient for the rider to handle the superfast motorcycle.
The updated Ducati Panigale V4 and V4S and V4 SP2 are priced at Rs 26,49,00, Rs 31,99,000 and 40,99,00 (ex-showroom India), respectively.
In India, the Ducati Panigale V4 series will rival other superfast supersports like the BMW S 1000 RR and Kawasaki Ninja ZX10R.
The base variant of the Panigale V4 now comes equipped with a new Engine Brake Control (EBC) Evo 2 software, which features gear-by-gear calibration on three selectable levels. What this claims to do is improve the stability and precision of the bike while braking and cornering and aims to perfect the overall engine braking intensity.
It also receives new technology for the Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) for better gearshift fluidity. The updates include a new cooling technology that will help the supersport offer better thermal management. This should keep the bike cooler than earlier after some hot laps around a race track.
The traction control and ride-by-wire technology have been improved too for more accurate lean angle measurement and better torque delivery.

The SP2 variant comes wrapped in an exclusive ‘Winter Test’ livery and gets a 520 final drive chain, STM-EVO SBK dry clutch, Brembo Stylema R calipers at the front paired with Brembo MCS (Multiple Click System) radial pump and a remote adjuster. To further enhance the Sport Production (SP) Panigale’s riding experience, Ducati has equipped it with anodised footpegs from Rizoma and magnesium wheels.
It also gets top-shelf components like an Ohlins NPX25/30 fork, Ohlins TTX36 monoshock and even an Ohlins-sourced electronic steering damper. You can head here to find out more details about how the SP2 variant differs from the standard Panigale V4.
Barring this, the motorcycle remains unchanged and is powered by the same 1103cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 powerhouse, belting out 215.5PS at 13,000rpm and 123.6Nm. The power output is 1.5PS more than the 2021 Panigale V4.
While the updated Panigale V4 retains its aggressive nature, it now also gets the equipment and electronics to make it a friendlier bike to ride. But, these upgrades do come at a cost in the form of a price hike.
