Kawasaki has updated the Z900 for 2023. The streetfighter now costs Rs 8.93 lakh (ex-showroom India). Contrary to online reports, the bike sees no hike in its price. The only change, then, is the introduction of two new colours – Metallic Phantom Black/Metallic Carbon Grey and Ebony/Metallic Matte Graphene Steel Grey – which replace the older ones.
Mechanically, the bike is still the same with its 948cc inline-four screamer mill making 125PS and 98.6Nm. With that, it goes up against the Triumph Street Triple R, Ducati Monster and BMW F900R. Its smaller-engined siblings, the Z650 and Ninja 650, too, were recently updated globally with a new traction control system.
