Honda has launched the 2024 CB300R in the USA at a price tag of $5,149 (around Rs 4.22 lakh). Compared to the 2023 model, this year’s model gets two new colour options: Pearl Dusk Yellow and Metallic Black.
The rest of the bike remains unchanged. It continues to be powered by the same 286cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 30.7PS and 27.5Nm and comes mated to a 6-speed transmission system with an assist and slipper clutch. Other details include a bronze-coloured upside down fork (USD) with the Pearl Dusk Yellow paint job and a black USD fork with the Metallic Black option.
The Honda CB300R has retro styling elements in its design, and the new Pearl Dusk Yellow colour highly accentuates the balance of modern and nostalgic styling and reminds us of the CB600 Hornet from the 2000s. In terms of features, the CB300R gets full-LED lighting and an LCD instrument cluster.
The new colours could soon make their way onto the India-spec bike in a few months, and it could command a fair premium over the existing iteration, which costs Rs 2,77,267 (ex-showroom). It rivals the BMW G 310 R, KTM 390 Duke and the upcoming Triumph Bajaj bike.
