2024 Kia Sonet Facelift Revealed: Sharper Looking And More Feature Loaded Than Before

Kia India has taken the wraps off the 2024 Sonet facelift on our shores ahead of its price announcement, expected sometime early next year. It marks the first facelift for the sub-4 metre SUV, which gets a revamped exterior styling and more features. Like before, the Kia Sonet comes in three broad trims that open up to seven variants. 

2024 Kia Sonet Facelift Exterior Design 

At the front, you now get a slightly larger grille with new inserts, flanking a pair of revised LED headlights with new DRLs that now extend downwards. Below it is the new bumper that’s more minimalist and features sleek LED fog lamps. Save for the new alloys, there aren’t any major changes to the side profile, while at the rear, you get a new set of connected LED tail lamps inspired by the Seltos.

2024 Kia Sonet Facelift Interior Design 

The overall dashboard layout of the 2024 Kia Sonet facelift is the same as the outgoing car. But keen-eyed viewers will notice that the interface for the climate control has been revised. And to give the cabin a refresh, higher-end variants get new interior colour schemes, details of which have been jotted down here. 

2024 Kia Sonet Facelift Features 

With this update, Kia has introduced new features in the Sonet such as a fully digital driver’s display, 360-degree camera and most importantly, select ADAS features. 

Bits such as the 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, single-pane sunroof, ventilated front seats, wireless phone charger and Bose sound system have been carried forward. 

In terms of safety, you get six airbags, ABS with EBD, front and rear parking sensors, electronic stability control, and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS). 

2024 Kia Sonet Facelift Engine Options

One can expect the 2024 Kia Sonet facelift to command a notable premium over the outgoing model, which started from Rs 7.79 lakh (ex-showroom). It will renew its rivalry with the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Mahindra XUV300, and Nissan Magnite.
