TVS has unveiled the 2025 version of the Ronin’s mid-spec DS variant at TVS MotoSoul 2024. It gets new colour schemes along with dual-channel ABS.

The upcoming mid-spec variant of the TVS Ronin will be available in two new colour schemes: Glacier Silver and Charcoal Ember and will replace the existing Delta Blue and Stargaze Black colours in the current version. The dual-tone colour schemes look really good. The Charcoal Ember paint scheme is the more vibrant one of the two with the blue paint in the tank, side panels and tail section making it look sprightly. The Glacier Silver has a more subtle look but the orange strips on the tank and side panels add a touch of dynamism to the overall look.

The other big change in the DS variant is that the 2025 model will have dual-channel ABS, instead of the single-channel ABS in the current version. This will certainly increase the safety quotient of the variant. The rest of the bike has remained unchanged. It is powered by a 225.9cc, single-cylinder, air- and oil-cooled engine producing 20.4PS at 7,750rpm and 19.93Nm at 3,750rpm.

The suspension setup consists of a 41mm inverted fork and a monoshock with 7-step preload adjustability. The braking setup consists of a 300mm front disc brake and a 240mm rear disc brake. The updated version is expected to cost about Rs 1.61 lakh (ex-showroom), a premium of about Rs 5,000 over the current version’s pricing and it will be launched in January 2025. It rivals the likes of the Royal Enfield Hunter 350, Jawa 42, and Kawasaki W175.
