5 Bollywood Names That Own The New Mercedes-Benz S-Class

Bollywood loves its cars big and fancy. In the current trend, that hunger seems to be quenched by the new flagship Range Rover, but there’s another car that has been chauffeuring the celebs for ages and continues to do so even in its new avatar. The car in question is the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and here are five B-town peeps that own one in their rather expansive garages:

Shah Rukh Khan

The king of the industry and the living legend, Shah Rukh Khan, owns the S 350d 4MATIC variant of the luxury saloon. He specced his S-Class in a white hue contrasted by black and chrome inserts. Eagle-eyed views will notice the 0505 number plate. For the uninitiated, 05 is like a signature for Shah Rukh and can be seen on most of the cars that he owns, including the Rolls-Royce Cullinan.

Shahid Kapoor

Shahid Kapoor was the first B-town star to buy the seventh-gen Mercedes-Maybach S-Class, the more luxurious version of the already opulent car. The flagship sedan packs a V8 underneath its long hood, assisted by mild-hybrid technology. Anil Kapoor

One of the latest S-class purchases in the Bollywood universe came in the form of Anil Kapoor’s new S 580 Maybach. It comes packing a V8 underneath, and Anil went for an Emerald Green exterior hue, contrasted with chrome on the grille and bumper. You can check out more details about his ride here.

Kareena Kapoor Khan

The gorgeous Kareena Kapoor Khan has always been a S-Class devotee, as she’s known for having a few in the past. Understandably, she got her hands on the new-gen S-Class and went for the 350d variant of the luxury saloon. Her taste seems to be quite similar to Shah Rukh as she also went for a white exterior shade. 

Mrunal Thakur

The rising Bollywood actress, Mrunal Thakur, joins the list of elite S-Class owners with her Mercedes-Benz S450 d luxury saloon. Finished in black exterior hue and a tan theme for the cabin, Mrunal’s S-Class looks chic, just like the actress herself. Do note that this was the inital model which was fully imported into India and gets some added kit such as rear wheel steer and more.
