The shortest month of the year had quite a handful of launches; in terms of two-wheelers, at least. While we saw quite a few popular bikes get critical updates, we also welcomed some dazzling new electrics. Here’s a list of all the two-wheelers that were launched in February 2023.
It is definitely safe to say that Bengaluru is the home of the two-wheeled electric revolution in India. Joining the ranks of Ather, Ola and Simple was River, as it took the wraps off its first electric scooter called Indie. Launched at a price tag of Rs 1,24,999 (ex-showroom Bengaluru, including FAME II subsidy), the Indie sports a youthful butch design and also offers loads of unique features, that you can check out here.
February was a busy month for Yamaha, as it updated its entire 150cc lineup of bikes, comprising the MT-15 V2, R15 V4 and FZ-X. It also launched a new variant of the FZ-S called the Version 4.0. Why should bikes have all the fun? Yamaha soon followed its updated bikes with a revised lineup of its 125cc scooters, including the Fascino 125 and Ray ZR 125 range of scooters. While being greener on the inside, they’re more colourful on the outside for 2023. Check these out here.
Just when you think Ola Electric offered everything it could, in terms of two-wheelers, at least, they levelled up by introducing three new variants of the S1 and S1 Air. These variants offer a variety of battery sizes, which you can check out in detail here.
Another new electric scooter to be launched in February was the Okaya Faast F2F, which gets a price tag of Rs 83,999 (ex-showroom). This makes it the most affordable electric scooter from the Delhi-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer under its Faast range. Check out what the Faast F2F has to offer here.
Another Bengaluru electric two-wheeler manufacturer to grab the headlines in February was Bounce, as it took the wraps off a limited edition variant of its Infinity e1 electric scooter.
