June 2024 was full of new bike and scooter launches – right from humble commuters to big, brawny adventure bikes and even electric scooters. Here’s everything about two-wheeler launches in India from the month that was.
The Jawa 350 was first launched in January 2024, as a successor to the Jawa Jawa. Now, though, it has been updated with new colours and has a new alloy wheel variant with tubeless tyres.
There are three new single-tone colours to choose from, black, grey, and green, while there’s a new white option in the dual-tone colours. Read more about it here.
For 2024, the Bajaj Pulsar 125 gets a new fully digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, a USB charger, and new graphics on the bodywork.
The bike is powered by a 125cc air-cooled engine that makes 11.8PS and 10.8Nm. The Pulsar 125 has two variants: single seat and split seat.
The Pulsar 150 also gets the same updates as the 125: a completely digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, a USB charger, and new body graphics.

The Pulsar 150 gets a 150cc air-cooled engine that puts out 14PS and 13.25Nm, and is mated to a five-speed gearbox. The Pulsar 150 is available in two variants: single disc and twin disc.
The Bajaj Pulsar N160 was updated the most: an inverted fork, a digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity & turn-by-turn navigation and ABS modes: rain, road, off-road.
The N160 can be had with a telescopic fork or with an inverted fork.
The Bajaj Pulsar 220F now gets a digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, a USB charger, and new styling graphics as standard.
There’s only one variant of the 220F. The bike is powered by a 220cc air- and oil-cooled engine that makes 20.4PS and 18.5Nm, and is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Its equipment list includes 17-inch wheels with tubeless tyres and disc brakes, a telescopic fork, and 5-step preload adjustable rear shocks. Read more about all the 2024 Pulsar updates here.
The Kawasaki Ninja 300 has new graphics for two paint schemes for 2024: Candy Lime Green, and Metallic Moon Grey, apart from the Lime Green that it was previously available in.
It still continues to get the 296cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine that makes 39PS and 26.1Nm, and is paired with a six-speed gearbox. Get all the details here.
The Yamaha Fascino gets a S variant based on the top-of-the-line disc variant. The S variant gets the smartphone-app enabled ‘Answer Back’ feature.
The S variant also gets 3 new paint schemes: Matte Red, Matte Black, and Dark Matte Blue. Know more in this story.
The Hero Xoom 110 gets a new fighter jet-inspired Combat Edition which is based on the top-of-the-line ZX variant.
It has a new Matt Shadow Grey paint scheme, and is priced at Rs 80,967 (ex-showroom, Delhi). More details here.
The BGauss RUV 350 is the newest offering from the Pune-based electric scooter manufacturer. The RUV 350 replaces the D15 electric scooter, and the biggest highlight, quite literally, are its 16-inch wheels.
The RUV is powered by a swingarm-mounted motor that makes 2.5kW (rated) and 165Nm. It has three riding modes: Eco, Ride, and Sport, which alter the performance and range of the scooter. You can read more in our first ride review.
The new Chetak 2901 is the most affordable variant of Bajaj's electric scooter. Launched at Rs 95,998 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru, including EMPS (Electric Mobility Promotion Scheme 2024) subsidy), it’s Rs 27,321 cheaper than the Urbane Variant.
It gets a 2.8kWh battery, 63kmph claimed top speed, and 123km claimed range. It’s available in 5 colours: Red, White, Black, Lime Yellow and Azure Blue. Read more in this story.
The Ducati Panigale V2 gets a new colour option called the Black On Black, which is priced Rs 30,000 more expensive than the red option. There’s minimal stickering on the bike, and barely enough tasteful red accents.
The Panigale V2 gets a 955cc L-twin engine that makes 155PS and 104Nm, which is mated to a six-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch and a bi-directional quickshifter. The Panigale V2 comes equipped with a ton of top-shelf equipment, which you can read about in this story.
The Ninja ZX-4RR has to be one of the most anticipated Kawasaki bikes in India. However, the price tag of this bike is just Rs 28,000 less than the Z900.
For that money, you get a screaming 399cc inline-four engine that makes 77PS and 39Nm, which is marginally higher than the ZX-4R. That said, the bike does weigh 189kg kerb. Read more about it in its launch story.
The new R 1300 GS is a generational update of the R 1250 GS, with a new engine, a new chassis, and much, much more.
At its introductory starting price of Rs 20.95 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), it’s more affordable than the Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 and the Ducati Multistrada V4. Here’s our first ride review of the R 1300 GS.
