Quick News Highlights

  • Unique Tricolore livery based on the Italian flag

  • Brake discs are the same size as WSBK racing bikes

  • Carbon-fibre wheels and an exposed dry clutch

Earlier this year, Ducati unveiled an updated version of its Panigale V4, which brought several small improvements over the previous model, including the removal of the single-sided swingarm. Now, Ducati has taken things up a notch with the Panigale V4 Tricolore edition, based on the V4 S. This limited-edition model features bespoke design elements, special components, and a significant focus on performance, with only 1,000 units available worldwide.

What Makes the Tricolore Special?

The Ducati Panigale V4 Tricolore stands out thanks to several unique features. The bike includes a billet aluminum steering plate that displays its individual number, adding to its exclusivity. Additionally, each model comes with a certificate of authenticity, further elevating its prestige. A standout feature of this edition is its exposed dry clutch, similar to what is found on the V4 R, adding a distinct visual and mechanical appeal.

Carbon Fiber Components

One of the most striking elements of the Tricolore edition is its extensive use of carbon fiber. Key parts, such as the front and rear mudguards, the swing-arm protector, and the alternator cover, are all crafted from this lightweight material. The bike also features 5-spoke carbon-fiber wheels, which reduce unsprung weight by 950 grams, further enhancing performance. Despite the lightweight construction, the Tricolore’s wet weight, without fuel, is 188 kg—just 1 kg heavier than the V4 S.

In terms of performance, the Tricolore is equipped with the largest brake discs on any production motorcycle. Brembo’s ‘T-drive finned’ 338.5mm discs are the same size as used in Ducati’s WorldSBK racing bikes. Additionally, the Brembo Hypure calipers are finished in a distinctive titanium color, giving the bike a racing-inspired aesthetic.

India Launch Details

While the updated Panigale V4 is yet to be launched in India, the availability of the Tricolore edition in the country remains uncertain.
