Suzuki is all set to soon drape the iconic Hayabusa in three new colours in India. These shades will be a part of the 2023 update for the peregrine falcon, which underwent a massive overhaul back in 2021. Additionally, as India is all set to roll out its latest OBD-2 emission norms, the ‘Busa will also be undergoing a revision to comply with these new regulations.
This Suzuki hyperbike will be launched in India post the OBD-2 emission norms which are scheduled to be enforced from April 1. These norms would need vehicles to be compliant to certain preset emission standards in real-world scenarios and not just in laboratory conditions. As Suzuki updates the Hayabusa to comply with these norms, the brand will also deck the bike in its 2023 colourways.
These colours are the same three shades we saw on the American-spec bike earlier last year. Called Metallic Matte Black No. 2 & Glass Sparkle Black, Metallic Thunder Gray & Candy Daring Red, and Pearl Brilliant White & Pearl Vigor Blue, these shades help the ‘Dhoom’ bike stand out even more. The iconic insignia continues to be prominently seen on its beefy fairing.
The Suzuki Hayabusa currently retails at Rs 16.41 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and the 2023 iteration is expected to arrive with a slight premium.
