Update: Mahindra has officially launched the revised Z8 variants of the Scorpio N with more features.

These two features will be available with the Z8 L variants only.

The Indian SUV manufacturer, Mahindra and Mahindra, will be introducing new features for the Scorpio N SUV, making it more appealing than before. These feature additions will be available in the higher-end Z8 Select, Z8 and Z8 L variants. Apart from the added features, Mahindra has introduced the Midnight Black colour on all Z8 variants. Earlier, it was available on the Z8 Select (S) variant only.

According to our dealer sources, the revised prices for the range of Z8 variants are expected imminently, and we expect Mahindra to charge a slight premium for the added features.
The Z8 variants are currently priced from Rs 17.09 lakh to Rs 24.54 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Scorpio N is a well-equipped SUV, with features like an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 12-speaker Sony audio system, cruise control, dual-zone climate control, connected car tech, steering-mounted audio controls, and wireless phone charging.

In terms of safety, it gets ABS with EBD, hill-hold assist, up to 6 airbags, front and rear camera with parking sensors, tyre pressure monitoring system and electronic stability control.
The Mahindra Scorpio N comes with multiple engine options: a 200 PS 2-litre turbo-petrol and a 2.2-litre diesel engine with either 132 PS or 175 PS (limited to higher-end variants). A 6-speed manual comes as standard, while the turbo-petrol and higher-end diesel engine get an optional 6-speed automatic. The SUV is primarily rear-wheel drive, but you can opt for it with a four-wheel drivetrain with the diesel engine.
The Mahindra Scorpio retails from Rs 13.85 lakh to Rs 24.54 lakh (ex-showroom).
It is a body-on frame alternative to the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara as well as midsize SUVs such as the MG Hector Plus, Mahindra XUV700 and the Tata Safari.
