It seems like the facelifted Audi Q7’s launch is at hand as pre-bookings (online and via dealerships) are now underway for Rs 5 lakh. The SUV will be offered in two trims: Premium Plus and Technology.

This midlife refresh brings in a more SUV-like persona for the Q7. It has a bigger front grille flanked by funky Adaptive Matrix LED headlights (an adaptable beam so you don’t blind oncoming drivers), aggressive-looking air dams, new 19-inch alloy wheels, and restyled LED taillamps with dynamic turn indicators.

Inside, the Q7’s dashboard layout is now more in line with the Q8, with the highlight being the dual screens on the dash. Features include a digital driver’s display, a 730W 19-speaker Bang and Olufsen sound system,  a 10.1-inch MMI touchscreen infotainment system, four-zone climate control, 30-color ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof, and an air quality sensor with air fragrance.

Passenger safety is covered by eight airbags as standard, electronic stability control, and front and rear parking sensors with a 360-degree camera. It’ll also pack hill assist, lane departure warning (new), and park assist for increased convenience.

The SUV can go from 0-100kmph in a claimed 5.9 seconds. You also get adaptive air suspension and drive modes to enhance your driving experience.

Expect the facelifted Audi Q7 to be priced from Rs 80 lakh (ex-showroom, India). It will take on the Mercedes-Benz GLE, BMW X5, and Volvo XC90. Our review drops on January 19, so keep following this space and stay tuned to ZigWheels.
