The Audi Q7 will be back to India in a facelifted avatar in the first quarter of January, 2022. Unlike the pre-facelift model, the facelifted luxury SUV will be a petrol-only model.

The Q7’s achilles heel, which was its station wagon design, has been addressed with the facelift. Most of the styling updates are on the fascia, making the Q7 look more SUV than before. It gets a larger single-frame, flanked by a new set of LED headlamps. Other styling updates include new alloy wheels, addition of body cladding, and revised tail lamps.

It’s on the inside where Audi has gone the whole hog by providing the Q7 with a brand new dashboard. The facelifted SUV’s dashboard is now similar to the Q8 with three screens comprising the digital driver's display, 10.1-inch MMI touchscreen infotainment, and controls for the climate control.

As we mentioned above, the Q7 will now be a petrol-only offering with a 3-litre petrol engine developing 340PS and 500Nm. It will drive all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission. A 48v mild hybrid system will also be part of the package to offer torque assist under hard acceleration.
