From Streetfighters to Adventure and lifestyle bikes, there’s something for everyone to look forward to

April is here and we can’t begin to tell you how excited we are to inform you that Yamaha is bringing two of its iconic bikes, R7 and the Tenere 700, to India this month. We will be riding them both on the 31st of April in Lavasa, Pune. Apart from that, here are the rest of the bikes that April might bring.

2023 KTM 390 Adventure

KTM will most likely launch the updated 390 Adventure in India this month. The 2023 model runs on 19-/17-inch spoke wheels. While they aren’t bigger in size than the current alloys, they should be more capable of handling rough terrains. Additionally, KTM is also working on two variants of the ADV for our market – one with adjustable suspension at both ends for offroading, and the other with the Duke’s monoshock for touring.

After a year of anticipation and spy shots, Royal Enfield might debut the 2023 version of its most iconic bike, the Bullet 350, this month. It is based on the lovely new and smooth J-series platform, which currently powers the Classic 350, Meteor 350 and Hunter 350. The 349cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine will continue to make 20.4PS and 27Nm, and will likely borrow the same relaxed ignition mapping as the Classic 350.

The heavens are going to be smiling upon us this April as Triumph launches the 2023 Triumph Street Triple 765. It is now the fastest streetfighter in its segment, and is as aggressively designed as ever. Along with a bunch of upgrades and updates, the RS variant of the bike now makes an insane 130PS! The bookings for the bike have already begun at Rs 50,000 across Triumph dealerships.

BS6 Phase 2 Updates

Phase 2 of BS6 emission norms kick in on April 1, and manufacturers are likely to launch their updated two-wheelers this month. What the new emission norms mandate is a second-generation onboard diagnostics device on the two-wheeler. This will monitor and indicate emission levels in real time unlike before when emissions were monitored in lab-controlled environments. Any irregularities are indicated on the instrument console. Yamaha’s remaining products, along with popular models from TVS, Bajaj and Honda, are likely to get updated this month.

Oh, and by the way, if you have not figured it out yet, today is April first, and this month only has 30 days!
