The world’s largest manufacturer has sold more two-wheelers than you think!

Hero MotoCorp, the world's largest motorcycle and scooter manufacturer, has released their November 2024 sales report. They sold 4,59,805 units in November 2024. This includes both motorcycles and scooters, though the sales dropped compared to the 491,050 units sold in November 2023. During the 32-day festive period starting from Navratri, Hero MotoCorp recorded its highest-ever retail sales of over 15.98 lakh units, a 13% growth compared to the same period in 2023. Let’s have a detailed look at the numbers down below:

Domestic Sales

In the domestic market, Hero MotoCorp sold 4,39,777 units in November 2024, which is down from 476,286 units in November 2023. However, exports saw a significant boost, reaching 20,028 units, a notable increase from 14,764 units in November last year.

EV Sales

Hero MotoCorp's EV brand, VIDA, continued to show positive results during the festive season. During the 32-day festive period starting from Navratri, VIDA alone achieved a retail sales figure of 11,600 units. Additionally, the Harley-Davidson X440 sold over 2,800 units.

What does the Future hold?

In November, Hero MotoCorp showcased its premium motorcycles and EVs at the EICMA motorshow 2024, including the Xpulse 210, Xtreme 250R, Karizma XMR 250, and VIDA Z electric scooter.

Verdict

Despite the decline in November sales, Hero MotoCorp’s efforts in expanding its EV portfolio and enhancing premium offerings shows that they are committed to expand their portfolio and cater to a wider range of customers. With the recent launch of Vida V2 electric scooter, they plan to dominate the growing EV market as well.
