The Hero XPulse 210 was recently unveiled at EICMA 2024, and the manufacturer has given us a good idea of what we can expect from this upcoming dual-sport. If you’re wondering what makes the Hero XPulse 210 different from the currently available Hero XPulse 200 4V, this article will clear your doubts.
Looks wise, both the bikes offer the similar off-roader styling, with the raised front fender, a slim profile and the raised flyscreen. But when comparing both, the Hero XPulse 210 looks a lot sharper and manages to come off as a more serious offroader.
Hero has gone with a sculpted tank and the overall styling makes it look similar to an enduro bike more than a dual-sport.
The XPulse 210 manages to also offer a more premium look and feel than the currently available Hero XPulse 200 4V.
The Hero XPulse 210 features a 210cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine which outputs 24.8PS and 20.7Nm.
The Hero XPulse 200 4V, on the other hand, is powered by a 199.6cc, air and oil-cooled, single-cylinder motor which outputs 19.1PS and 17.35Nm. Compared to this, the XPulse 210 offers 5.7PS and 3.35Nm more, which is a substantial bump in performance.
The XPulse 200 4V comes with a LCD instrument console with features such as smartphone connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. The console has a clean layout and manages to get information across without much trouble.
The new XPulse 210, on the other hand, offers a more premium looking 4.2 inch TFT console, which will likely offer the same set of features.
Other than the different consoles, both the bikes will offer dual-channel ABS with the option to switch off ABS intervention at the rear wheel entirely.
Overall, the Hero XPulse 210 manages to offer a substantial upgrade over the Hero XPulse 210, be it in terms of looks, power and performance. The XPulse 210 will likely be launched sometime in 2025, with the bike being showcased at Hero World 2025.
We expect the bike to come at a price that is around Rs 1.9 lakh ex-showroom. The Hero XPulse 200 4V currently comes at a starting price of Rs 1,47,391 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
We expect the Hero XPulse 210 to replace the Hero XPulse 200 Pro. This will allow Hero MotoCorp to offer both an entry level dual-sport and a more enthusiast oriented dual-sport, offering more power and performance.
