Honda has unveiled the 2021 Elite 125 for the Brazilian market.
It gets a sharp design with muscular bodywork.
Features like LED lights, a digital instrument cluster, and combi brakes come standard.
There’s a long list of Honda two-wheelers from the company’s international lineup that we’d want to see in India. And the latest addition to it is the 2021 Elite 125 scooter, recently updated in the Brazilian market.
For 2021, the Elite 125 retains its striking design with sporty twin LED headlamps and the muscular bodywork which houses the front indicators. However, you do get new gloss black panels here and there now, which makes the design even better. Rest, everything is carried forward from before.
Complementing the design are features like LED lights, a digital instrument cluster, two cubby storages up front, alloy wheels, a front disc brake, and a combined braking system.
The Elite 125 is powered by a 124.9cc single-cylinder motor putting out 9.3PS and 10.3Nm, around 1PS more than Honda’s flagship 125cc scooter in India, the Grazia. In addition, the Elite 125 also weighs 4kg less than the Grazia.
Here comes the caveat, though. Honda has priced the 2021 Elite 125 at BRL 10,120 (around Rs 1.35 lakh), which is quite pricey by Indian standards. After all, one can get the more powerful and better-equipped Yamaha Aerox 155 in India, while still saving a significant chunk of money.
