Hyundai launches the Knight Edition for the Exter from Rs 8.38 lakh (ex-showroom).
New colours introduced : Abyss Black, and Shadow Grey (with optional dual-tone).
Gets red highlights inside and out that adds to the sporty look.
Knight Edition commands Rs 15,000 premium over the standard variants.
Available only with a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 83 PS and 114 Nm.
The Exter is priced from Rs 6.12 lakh to Rs 10.27 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Exter turns one and as part of its celebrations, Hyundai India has launched the Exter Knight Edition at an introductory price of Rs 8.38 lakh (ex-showroom). Based on the top-spec SX and SX (O) variants, it gets cosmetic tweaks for a sportier look. The Knight Edition also adds two exclusive new colours to the palette.

Based on previous offerings from Hyundai, the Exter Knight Edition carries cosmetic tweaks and gets new Abyss Black and Shadow Grey colour options. To gel along with the new hues, all the contrasting bits add a sporty flair with red accents on grille, front bumper & rear tailgate, red coloured disc brake calipers, gloss black front and rear skid plate, all black 15-inch alloy wheels, badging in black color and an exclusive “Knight” emblem.
Similarly, the blacked-out interiors get contrast stitching and red inlays in the seat upholstery, to further elevate the sportiness inside the cabin. The Knight Edition further gets red accents on the AC vents and trims, red footwell lighting, black satin interior door handles and steering wheel, metal scuff plate on door sills, and floor mats with red contrast stitching.
Hyundai entered the micro-SUV segment with the Exter, which was even accoladed as the 2024 Indian Car Of The Year (ICOTY). Since its launch, it has garnered tremendous liking for itself and has been selling in good numbers pan India. The Exter micro-SUV sits below the Venue, and is essentially a hunkered up model based on the Grand i10 Nios’s platform.
The Hyundai Exter micro-SUV boasts an impressive array of features which includes an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a digitised driver's display, connected car technology, automatic climate control, a wireless phone charger, cruise control, and keyless entry with push-button start/stop functionality. The Hyundai Exter also offers a sunroof and a dash cam.
Safety features encompass six airbags, ABS with EBD as standard across the trims along with a tire pressure monitoring system, electronic stability control, and rear parking sensors with a camera.
The Hyundai Exter gets powered by a sole 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 83 PS and 114 Nm. It can be had with the option of a 5-speed manual transmission and a 5-speed AMT automatic transmission. A factory fitted CNG variant is also on offer which can be had with the 5-speed manual, producing 69 PS and 95.2 Nm.
Notably, the Knight Edition variants command a premium of Rs 15,000 over the standard SX and SX(O) variants in the line-up, and is priced from Rs 8.38 lakh to Rs 10.42 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Hyundai Exter is available in five different trims: EX, S, SX, SX(O) and SX(O) Connect, and its entire line-up is priced from Rs 6.12 lakh to Rs 10.27 lakh (ex-showroom). It rivals other micro-SUVs in the segment like the Tata Punch, Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger.
