Suzuki Motorcycles has now decked its iconic speed demon, the Hayabusa, in three new colour options, exclusively for the US market for now. Famous in India for being the “Dhoom” bike, and known for holding the title of the World’s Fastest Bike for many years, the Suzuki Hayabusa now gets three attractive colours that help the bike stand out more.
The beefed up bike now comes in Metallic Matte Black No. 2 & Glass Sparkle Black, Metallic Thunder Gray & Candy Daring Red, and Pearl Brilliant White & Pearl Vigor Blue colour options that compliment its muscular lines really well. The iconic Hayabusa Japanese graphics continue to be prominently featured on the side panel of the motorcycle, blending well with the new colour palette.
There are no mechanical changes to the bike, and it continues to be powered by the same 1,340cc inline four-cylinder engine that produces 190 PS and 150 Nm and is plugged to a six-speed gearbox. It also features multiple power and riding modes, traction control, cruise control, launch control, quickshifter, and cornering ABS.
The 2023 Suzuki Hayabusa is priced at USD 18,799 (around Rs 14.59 lakh), which is an increase of only USD 200 (around Rs 15,000) over the outgoing model. In comparison, the India-spec Hayabusa is priced at Rs 16,41,000 (ex-showroom Delhi). These new colour options are likely to make their way to our shores soon, and would also command a slight premium over the existing model.
