Hyundai India has announced that Indian cricket star and captain of IPL team Gujarat Titans, Hardik Pandya, will be its official ambassador for the Exter SUV. Slated for an India launch on July 10, the Exter will be the Korean marque’s smallest SUV in India and will go head on with the Tata Punch.
Commenting on this exciting development, Pandya said, “I am really excited to partner with Hyundai for their new and highly anticipated SUV - the Hyundai Exter. I am very passionate about cars and this SUV fits into my style perfectly. It is spacious and stunning inside, dynamic on the outside and loaded with all that you need to venture outside. From its bold stance to its thrilling drive, this one is a real game changer. I am sure India will fall in love with the Hyundai Exter.”
Hyundai says the reason behind choosing Pandya as its brand ambassador for its micro SUV is due to his unwavering confidence, composure on the field and decision making skills. In fact, the cricket star managed to take his team to an excellent second position in the 2023 IPL, narrowly missing the win to Chennai Super Kings in a nail biting final.
Coming back to the Exter, it features an upright SUV-like styling with plenty of retro design elements, giving it a nice charm. It also comes loaded with features such as a sunroof, which we Indians love, and standard safety kit such as six airbags and electronic stability control.
