Kawasaki Z650 Gets An Update For 2024

The 650cc street naked from Kawasaki, the Z650, has been updated for 2024 and comes draped in two new colours : Candy Permission Red/Ebony and Metallic Matte Dark Gray/Metallic Flat Spark Black. 

The Candy Permission Red/Ebony gives a very vibrant look to the motorcycle with the bright red alloy wheels along with some splashes of red on the fuel tank and headlight cowl. The other colour option gives a very stealthy look to the Z650 with green stripes on the wheels and the tank extensions, while the rest of the bike is finished in a black and grey paint job. 

Apart from the colour changes, the rest of the bike remains unchanged from the current model. It is powered by a 649cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine producing 68PS at 8,000rpm and 64Nm at 6,700rpm. Braking duties are handled by dual 300mm petal disc brakes at the front and a single 220mm petal disc brake at the rear.

The current Kawasaki Z650 is available in India with a price tag of Rs 6,59,000 (ex-showroom). The 2024 model is available in the US with prices starting from $8,149 (Rs 6.76 lakh) and is expected to come to India in 2024.
