Kia has launched yet another SUV in the sub-4-metre space, and it is the Syros which is a more premium offering in the segment. In Kia’s lineup, it will be positioned between the Sonet and the Seltos, with prices beginning from Rs 9 lakh (ex-showroom). It is offered in multiple variants, has a premium interior with plenty of features and is available in several variants.
Without further ado, let’s take a look at its price range and other details:
Design
The Syros gets a sharp fascia with plenty of modern design elements such as the blanked-out tiger nose grille which will remind you of the EV 9. It gets vertically stacked LED headlights which are complemented by vertical LED DRLs. Furthermore, you get a silver skid plate which adds a contrast.
It gets a boxy silhouette with rugged and premium design elements. It sports 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, with a design similar to those on the EV9. Roof rails and chunky silver body cladding add to the rugged appearance. For a premium touch, it gets flush door handles.
The rear comes with L-shaped LED taillights near the rear window which is in line with Kia’s modern design language. It has a flat rear end which complements the boxy design. Other elements include a rear wiper and a shark-fin antenna.
The Kia Syros comes in 8 monotone exterior colour options: Sparkling Silver, Gravity Grey, Imperial Blue, Intense Red, Pewter Olive, Glacier White, Aurora Black and Frost Blue. Here is a look at its dimensions:

We believe that the Syros will be able to offer a more premium and sophisticated experience in the subcompact SUV space, with a prime focus on offering a great rear seat. It is unique and will stand out for sure, but are you a fan of its polarizing design? Let us know in the comments below.
