Maserati has delivered the first unit of the 2022 Levante Hybrid allocated for the Indian market to a customer in Mumbai. It is the Italian luxury carmaker’s second electrified model after the Ghibli Hybrid.
First debuted in 2021 at the Auto show in Shanghai, the hybrid version of the Levante packs a 2-litre turbo-petrol unit paired to a 48 volt mild-hybrid system which is good for 330PS and 450Nm. An 8-speed automatic gearbox delivers the engine’s power to all four wheels.
In markets abroad, the Levante gets the option of a V6 (tuned to produce 350PS and 500Nm, and 430PS and 500Nm) and a V8 (580PS and 730Nm) engines as well. Prices for the electrified Italian SUV start from Rs 1.48 crore (ex-showroom).
