New Cars Galore In July: All New Confirmed Reveals And Launches Due In July 2023

2023 has been a good year for new car launches and the upcoming month of July seems to have plenty in store with at least three new confirmed debuts

In the market for a new car? We suggest you refrain from a purchase just a tad bit longer, especially if you were looking for either a micro SUV, compact SUV or a premium MPV because July has new offerings in those exact segments lined up. Here’s everything that will be unveiled in July 2023:

Facelifted Kia Seltos: July 4

The first unveil slated for the month of July is the highly anticipated facelifted Kia Seltos. The outgoing model has been on sale in the country since mid-2019 and a facelift has been present in global markets for quite some time now. So it's only about time that India gets its  facelift version too, considering it is one of the most popular compact SUVs here and is actually the model which cemented Kia’s efforts in the country.

We previously got a dekko inside its cabin, while more recently, we got undisguised spy shots of its Tech Line guise. The facelift is expected to bring a new engine option and features to the Seltos’s brochure along with a steeper price tag over the current model, which is sold from Rs 10.89 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards.

Maruti Invicto: July 5

We’re set to get another rebadged Maruti X Toyota offering, but this time around, it’ll be the Toyota offering that is getting rebadged as a Maruti. Christened as the Invicto, the premium MPV will hit the market on July 5, but will be only available with the 2-litre petrol-hybrid powertrain given that there is a possibility that Maruti might offer the Invicto in a single fully loaded variant.

Thanks to papped images, we already have a clue at the differentiating factors that will distinguish it from the Toyota Innova Hycross and you can know all about them here. Expect a price tag of around Rs 30 lakh (ex-showroom) if it is offered in the top-spec variant.

Hyundai Exter: July 10

If the Maruti Invicto or even the Kia Seltos are too big for you and you’re looking for something smaller, probably with a footprint of a hatchback but with the appeal of an SUV, the Hyundai Exter is the one for you. The latest Hyundai has its aim locked directly at the Tata Punch, the only other micro SUV in the country. And its arsenal seems to be impressive as well, with features like a sunroof, dashcam recorder and more, all of which are offered over its chief rival.

It’ll even get a CNG option at launch and the first unit of the Exter has left the factory as production is underway ahead of its July 10 launch. Prices for Hyundai’s micro SUV are likely to start from around the Rs 6-lakh (ex-showroom) mark.

Of this lot, the Hyundai and Maruti are confirmed to launch either at the same time or soon after the debut, while the facelifted Seltos’s prices are expected soon after debut. Which one are you waiting for? Let us know in the comments below.
