Royal Enfield has announced a global bike recall for its bikes manufactured between November 2022 and March 2023. A global recall was announced shortly after a routine check revealed performance issues with the side and rear reflectors, compromising the safety while riding the bike in low-light conditions.

The company will be fixing this issue in a phased manner, starting with South Korea, USA and Canada. Followed by India, Brazil, Latin America, Europe and the UK. As per the company, the affected number of Royal Enfield bikes is few and they will be replacing the necessary components as a precautionary measure. The company states that the safety of riders is of the utmost importance to them and is committed to serving them.

The company will be fixing this issue free of cost on the affected bikes and will not take over 15 minutes. Customers of these affected bikes will be contacted by Royal Enfield’s service teams to get the issue fixed.

The parallel-twin engine-powered retro-roadster, the Classic 650 was spied again. We reckon it will be priced at around Rs 3.2 lakh (ex-showroom) and is likely to be launched in a few months.
