Royal Enfield Guerilla 450 Trademarked; Is It A Rally-Themed Himalayan 450?

Royal Enfield has trademarked three names: Royal Enfield Guerilla 450,  Goan Classic 350 and Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350. The status of all the three trademarks are listed as ‘Accepted & Advertised’ and as such, these might be the final names of the two upcoming motorcycles.

The Guerilla 450 could be a hardcore rally-themed version of the Himalayan 450 and it could come with the tubeless spoked wheels that Royal Enfield is homologating for India. The adjustable seat could be replaced by a fixed rally-style seat, possibly with a height of 845mm, which is the highest setting in the Himalayan 450. The ADV could get full-blown knobby tyres to tackle tough off-road terrains and as a result, the ground clearance could increase by just a bit, but that’ll be a very minor bump. A new colour scheme is expected to be offered with this variant as well and other features such as a headlight grille to go with the variant’s characteristics. 

The Goan Classic 350 or Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 is expected to be  a new colour scheme variant of the Royal Enfield Classic 350. As a Goa-themed variant, we expect the said colour scheme to be a vibrant one. It might get different colour schemes, liveries and badges because that’s how Royal Enfield tends to differentiate the different colour variants of their models. Mechanically, the bike will most likely remain unchanged. The Goan Classic 350 might be similar to what TVS did with the XL100 by unveiling the XL Goa at MotoSoul 2019.

The Royal Enfield Guerilla 450 is expected to be launched by the third-quarter of 2024 with a slight premium over the Himalayan 450 Hanle Black variant’s Rs 2,84,000 (ex-showroom) price tag. The Goan Classic 350 is expected to be launched by mid-2024.
