(Update: The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 has been launched. Check out the details here.)
The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 is about to be launched on July 17, 2024, which is only a few days away. So, here’s everything we know about the bike so far.
The upcoming Royal Enfield Guerilla 450’s front-end looks very similar to that of the Royal Enfield Hunter 350. It gets a round, triple-clamp mounted headlight, fork gaiters and a rounded tank design with an offset fuel cap. The rear section looks very similar to that of the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. It gets the same taillight integrated turn indicators. The exhaust has been borrowed from the ADV. The Guerrilla 450 gets a single-piece seat. It could get a flyscreen covering the instrument console as an accessory.
The upcoming roadster will be available in two variants, as revealed in a recent spy shot. The premium variant will get the same round, TFT instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity and Google Maps navigation found in the Himalayan 450. Along with that, it’ll get dual-tone colour options. Two of them have been spotted already, one of which is a combination of gold and red while the other one is a yellow and black paintjob with a glossy finish. The more affordable variant will come with single-tone colour options and the instrument console seen in the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650. It consists of an analogue speedometer and a digital inset showing readouts such as the fuel gauge, tripmeter, odometer, clock, gear position indicator and an Eco prompt.
The upcoming Guerrilla 450 will be powered by the same 452cc, liquid-cooled ‘Sherpa’ engine found on the Himalayan 450, which makes 40.02PS and 40Nm on the ADV. The suspension setup consists of a telescopic fork and a monoshock while braking duties will be taken care of by disc brakes at both ends. It is most likely getting 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends with CEAT Gripp XL tyres. It gets a raised handlebar and mid-set footpegs, which should translate to an upright riding posture.
Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 Price And Rivals
The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 is expected to be priced around the Rs 2.20 lakh - Rs 2.30 lakh (ex-showroom) mark. It will rival the Triumph Speed 400, Husqvarna Svartpilen 401, Hero Mavrick 440, Harley-Davidson X440 and QJ Motor SRC 500.
