Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450: Same Price Other Options

Not a fan of the Guerrilla 450? Then here are a few bikes that you choose instead of the newly-launched Royal Enfield roadster

Same Price Other Options

The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 is priced from Rs 2.39 lakh to Rs 2.54 lakh (ex-showroom), and it looks like a proper retro-styled roadster. It gets a 450cc liquid-cooled engine, just like the Himalayan 450. But if you aren’t a fan, here are 5 alternative bikes that are priced in the same price ballpark as the Guerilla.

Bajaj Dominar 400: Rs 2,30,815

The Bajaj Dominar 400 is one of the most powerful bikes in this list. It makes 40PS and 37Nm from its 373cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine.

Bajaj now equips the performance-oriented cruiser with touring-friendly parts like knuckle guards, a tall windscreen, luggage mounts, and a metal bash plate. The Dominar 400 is quite famous in the touring community for being comfortable on long rides, its ability to effortlessly ride with luggage and even a pillion, and quite relaxed ergos. That makes the Dominar 400 a worthwhile alternative to the Guerrilla 450 if you are looking for a bike to tour on.

TVS Apache RR 310: Rs 2,49,990 - Rs 2,72,000

The TVS Apache RR 310 offers a good blend of sporty riding and touring capabilities.

It’s a bike that you won’t mind riding to your favourite race track, on it, and then back home. It’s powered by a 312cc liquid-cooled engine that makes 34PS and 27.3Nm. The 310 packs in a lot of features, riding modes, and some fantastic equipment, all of which make it a good sporty alternative in the Guerrilla’s price segment.

Triumph Scrambler 400 X: Rs 2,64,495

The Triumph Scrambler 400 X is a good option if you are looking at a bike to kick up some dirt or ride on some easy trails.

It gets the same engine as the Speed 400: 398.15cc, liquid-cooled single-cylinder, that makes 40PS and 37.5Nm. It has 150mm travel for both wheels and has a fantastic ground clearance of 195mm. However, it comes at the cost of a rather tall, 835mm seat height. The 400 X also gets switchable traction control.

KTM 250 Adventure: Rs 2,48,424

If you want a sporty adventure bike at the price of the Guerrilla, take a look at the KTM 250 Adventure.

Its 30PS, 24Nm, 248.7cc liquid-cooled engine isn’t quite as intimidating as the 390’s, yet it’s powerful enough to keep you engaged and learn the nuances of adventure touring. Its credentials are strengthened by a 14.5-litre fuel tank, 10-step adjustable monoshock, 200mm ground clearance, and switchable ABS with off-road mode.

Harley-Davidson X440: Rs 2,39,500 - Rs 2,79,500

The Harley-Davidson X440 is more of a laid-back, easy riding retro-styled roadster.

It makes 28PS and 37Nm from its 440cc air & oil-cooled single cylinder engine. It takes a more humble approach even with its features. Its styling is similar to the H-D XR 1200 Sportster. However, all said, the X440 is versatile enough to be your daily rider, a fun, weekend corner-carver, and week-long tourer. We suggest not discrediting it just because of its seemingly weak spec sheet, and instead test riding it.
