After months of speculation and spy shots, we finally got to see the upcoming Himalayan 452 uncovered. Royal Enfield has just revealed the Himalayan 452 and also announced that it’ll be launched on 7th November, 2023.
The ADV gets a sleeker yet larger looking fuel tank, redesigned fender, split-seat setup and a whole host of changes compared to the Himalayan 411. The new bike looks a lot sleeker than the old bike. And the USD fork with the fork cover and 21-inch spoke wheels give the bike a commanding presence.
We already know that the Himalayan 452 will be powered by a 451.65cc, liquid-cooled engine that’ll produce 40PS at 8,000rpm. It’ll get a wheelbase of 1,510mm and will have a 394kg GVW (Gross Vehicle Weight), which translates to an estimated 210kg kerb weight. All of these details were recently revealed by a leaked homologation document.
In terms of features, it’ll come equipped with a TFT instrument console with navigation, possibly turn-by-turn. It’ll also get switchable ABS.
The Himalayan 452 will likely get a price tag of about Rs 2.8 lakh (ex-showroom) and will rival the likes of the KTM 390 Adventure (spoke wheel variant) and the upcoming Hero XPulse 400.
