As it appears from the latest SIAM report, December 2022 has been an underwhelming month for Suzuki with regards to sales. While 125cc scooters held the fort for the brand with nearly 40,000 units sold collectively, with the Suzuki Access 125 solely carrying the brand's sales numbers. The bikes alternatively are finding it hard to fly off the shelf. Bizarre enough when you realise Suzuki sold as many Hayabusas as the Gixxer 250 twins.

Another pain point for Suzuki is the tiny 150cc Gixxer twins. Having sold 1,213 units in December 2021, selling only 11 units this past December may be concerning for the Japanese marquee. On the other hand, the newly launched V-Strom 250 SX seems to be catching traction. Looks like rolling out an ADV on that 250cc platform was good thinking.
On the premium side of the scale, both the V-Strom 650 XT and Katana seem to have had no takers, but the mighty Hayabua soldiers on three decades later, thanks to its incredible value for money.
