Hot on the tail of the 2023 Royal Enfield Bullet 350’s teaser, we have the veteran bikemaker in the news once again. This time it is for a hot new spy shot of the upcoming Classic 350-based bobber called the Shotgun 350.
The latest spy shot gives us two new pieces of information. First, along with the LED turn indicators, the Shotgun 350 will also get an LED headlight, similar to the one found on the Super Meteor 650. Secondly, staying true to the bobber genre, the test mule features a slash-cut exhaust. The exhaust note can also be expected to be different from its siblings.
Apart from these new bits, we already know that the bike features an ape hanger handlebar and a single-piece seat with a modular pillion seat (which will be easier to remove) for a proper bobber appeal. Additionally, the bike runs white-walled tyres, blacked out finish on engine and hardware components, and for more information on the bike, head here.
In terms of powertrain, the Shotgun 350 will be powered by the same single-cylinder, 349cc, air-cooled motor as the Classic 350, Meteor 350 and Hunter 350. While the output figures might stay the same at 20.2PS and 27Nm, expect it to get a slightly different ignition mapping.
Expect Royal Enfield to launch the Shotgun 350 by mid-2024 with an expected price of Rs 2.2 lakh, ex-showroom. It will go up against the likes of Jawa Perak and 42 Bobber.
