The Facelifted Audi Q5 Goes All Swoopy With New Sportback Variant!

This week saw a bombardment of spied images of upcoming vehicles like the Tata Harrier EV, Skoda Kodiaq facelift and the upcoming Skoda sub-4 metre SUV. The launch timeline for the Hyundai Creta EV was also confirmed along with a few other launches and price revisions. Keep reading to know the top 10 news highlights of the week gone by.
The Tata Nexon has been a superhit subcompact SUV since its debut into the Indian market back in 2017. It has garnered a lot of interest amongst the audience and has hit a sales milestone of over 7 lakh units being sold since its launch. This number includes sales of both Nexon and Nexon EV. Hyundai has been gearing up to introduce the Creta EV in the Indian market. With the Creta EV already being spied on multiple times, the Korean manufacturer has confirmed its arrival by the end of FY 2025, thereby expecting it to hit the Indian roads by March 2025. The highly anticipated Tata Harrier EV has been spied testing in the higher altitude regions of our country, revealing its dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup. Though the test mule spotted was heavily camouflaged, we could make out the expected changes including styling tweaks and EV specific aero-design alloy wheels. Have a look at it here.
Citroen India has launched a limited “Dhoni edition” of the C3 Aircross inspired by the Indian cricket star Mahendra Singh Dhoni. It has been launched at an introductory price of Rs 11.82 lakh (ex-showroom) and will be limited to just a 100 units across dealerships. Apart from few cosmetical additions like “7” decals on the exterior and seat covers and dash cam inside, no mechanical changes have been made. Read more here.
Prices for the base and top-spec variant of the Skoda Slavia have been slashed with the entry level model now costing Rs 94,000 less than before. Skoda is rigorously testing its forthcoming sub-4 metre SUV on Indian roads. A heavily camouflaged test mule was yet again spied, giving a clearer perspective of its size.
