TVS Motor Company, the Hosur-based two-wheeler manufacturer, has released the sales data for the month of November and the company has shown promising growth. The company has registered a sales figure of 4,01,250 units in November 2024 which is 10 percent over November 2023’s 3,64,231 units.
TVS’ overall two-wheeler sales have increased marginally. They have registered a growth of 12% and have sold 3,92,473 units in November 2024 compared to 3,52,103 units in November 2023.
For the domestic market, they registered a sale of 3,05,323 units in November 2024 which is 6 percent more than November 2023’s 2,87,017 units.
As for TVS’ motorcycles, the sale has gone up by 4 percent; they have sold 1,80,247 units in November 2024. For scooters, a 22 percent growth has been registered, having sold 1,65,535 units in November 2024 over 1,35,749 units in November 2023.
The popular models in their two-wheeler lineup include the TVS Jupiter, Apache RTR 160 4V, and the Apache RR 310.
Along with the sale of petrol-powered two-wheelers, the sale of TVS’ electric scooters have also risen. The brand registered a sale of 26,292 units in November 2024 which is 57 percent more than November 2023 (16,782 units). The TVS iQube is the most popular model when it comes to TVS’ electric vehicles.
The company’s international sales have increased as well. They exported 93,755 units in November 2024 which is a 25 percent increase as compared to 75,203 units in November 2023. For two-wheelers, the international sales for November 2024 stands at 87,150 units which is a 34 percent increase over November 2023 (65,086 units). TVS exports to over 80 countries worldwide and some of their popular models overseas include the Raider 125, Neo and the Apache Series.
Despite showing an overall growth in sales figure, the three-wheeler sale has decreased. TVS sold 8,777 units in November 2024 as against 12,128 units in November 2023.
TVS has shown promising results in November 2024 as compared to last year. They registered a growth in their EV and international sales which denotes that people are demanding their products globally as well.
