Upcoming Ather Rizta Electric Scooter Teased By Anubhav Singh Bassi

We know that Ather Energy’s upcoming family scooter, called the Ather Rizta, is going to be launched very soon and it has been teased and spied on many times already. And now stand up comedian Anubhav Singh Bassi has teased the electric scooter on his social media handle.

While a lot of details about the e-scooter have already been uncovered, in this teaser, the large floorboard area, apron-mounted headlight and turn indicators, and the large fully-digital instrument console are clearly visible. One thing missing from this image, compared to when it was spied for the first time, is the foldable pillion footrest suggesting that it might be available as an accessory. 

We already know that the Rizta gets a large single seat, which is fitting as a family-oriented scooter. It also gets a boxy design language, unlike the previous offerings from Ather Energy. The upcoming Ather scooter is expected to come equipped with the same 2.9kWh capacity battery pack and the 5.4kW peak power output motor as that of the Ather 450S.

The Ather Rizta is expected to be launched by mid-2024 with a price tag of about Rs 1.3 lakh (ex-showroom including FAME 2 subsidy). Its rivals will be the TVS iQube Electric and the Ola S1 X+.
